Leesha Conway has always been passionate about horses. She grew up in Auckland city dreaming that she would one day own and work with horses. That dream came true. She has spent the majority of her years since leaving school working for some of New Zealand’s largest thoroughbred stud farms including the likes of Westbury Stud, The Oaks, Cambridge Stud, and most recently Windsor Park Stud, She has also work for top trainers, Murry Baker and Andrew Forman as well as working for pre trainers. This gave her a good insight into the racing industry and plenty of experience working with young horses.
Leesha has spent her free time managing her own horses. She has made a bit of name for herself in the showing world with her beautiful horses. This was the start of creating Goldendreams Sporthorses in which she breed, raises, trains, and shows her unique horses.
An opportunity to have have her horses used as a model for a local photographer, Alexandra Hope Photography, lead to a budding friendship. Since that first photoshoot they have done many more. It was that the lead to the inspiration to create Dream Horse Gifts, a way to share the beauty for her horses to the world.
